Sick Pet Appointments

To ensure a proper diagnosis, we need to examine your pet. We begin a medical assessment by discussing your concerns, and making your pet feel safe and relaxed. Your trusted Veterinarian will then begin a full physical exam: looking at your pet’s eyes, ears, and skin and checking his or her cardiovascular, neurological, gastrointestinal, and skeletal systems for any abnormalities. We will do this with your involvement, showing and telling you everything that they find. If further diagnostics are needed to check your pet’s kidneys, liver, pancreas, and endocrine system, including the thyroid and adrenal glands, this will be discussed with you to make a plan that you are happy with. Based on your pet’s condition, we may recommend further diagnostic tests, such as radiography (x-rays), ultrasound, or biopsy. Most tests can be done with you and your pet in the exam room. If they require needing to go elsewhere (X-ray room for example) we will discuss this with you. Please ask us for a clinic tour if you would like to see the whole clinic! Our goal is to have everyone comfortable so we can reach the end goal together. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please call us or make an appointment online

Not sure if your pet needs to be seen right away? Check your pets symptoms in our Pet Health Checker to determine how long to wait before making an appointment.
